Frequently asked questions
Everything you need to know before you pick an eSIM.
An eSIM is a digital SIM built into your phone — no plastic card. You scan a QR code and get a local data plan in minutes. It is the simplest way to stay online abroad without paying roaming fees.
No. eSIMpeek is an independent comparator. We compare plans from trusted providers like Airalo, Holafly and Saily, then send you to the provider to buy. You always pay the provider directly — never eSIMpeek.
Tell us your destination, trip length and how much data you need. We rank every plan by real price-per-gigabyte, coverage and features, and highlight our pick — so you get the right plan, not just the cheapest one.
Most phones from the last few years support eSIM (iPhone XS and newer, recent Samsung Galaxy, Google Pixel and more). We cover 200+ destinations across MENA, Europe, Asia and beyond. Check your phone under Settings → “Add eSIM”.
Yes. An eSIM adds a second line just for data, so your main number, your calls and WhatsApp keep working exactly as before.
After buying from the provider, you scan a QR code and you are connected — often before you even land. Payment happens on the provider’s own secure checkout; eSIMpeek never sees or handles your card details.
Most providers let you top up instantly from their own app or account dashboard, without buying a whole new eSIM. Top-up flexibility varies by provider, so check this before you buy if running low mid-trip is a real concern for you.
You only need Wi-Fi or mobile data to install the eSIM profile itself — do this before you fly, on your home network. Most eSIMs only start counting data once they connect to a network abroad, so installing early costs you nothing and saves time on arrival.
Each provider has its own support and refund policy — most offer chat support and will refund or replace an eSIM that fails to activate through no fault of your own. Since eSIMpeek does not sell plans directly, refund requests go to the provider you purchased from, not to us.
